Aida Mercado Named Michigan's Employee Owner of the Year

We are proud to announce that our co-owner, Aida Mercado, has been named 2024 Employee Owner of the Year by the Michigan Chapter of the ESOP Association! This prestigious honor recognizes an outstanding employee of an ESOP company who goes above and beyond to embody the spirit of employee ownership. Recipients demonstrate a deep understanding of the ESOP, actively educate and motivate their colleagues, and promote a thriving ownership culture within their organization.

Aida joined Staffing Inc. in 1997 as a Spanish translator and has grown within the company, taking on various roles that have shaped her into the remarkable leader she is today. As a Senior Recruiter, Aida is passionate about helping others find meaningful, life-changing career opportunities across West Michigan. Her dedication to supporting both employees and clients reflects her commitment to excellence and service.

Aida embodies the spirit of employee ownership. She leads by example, taking pride in her work and inspiring others to do the same. As a champion of our ownership culture, Aida lives by our core values and holds herself and her colleagues accountable to them.

Her enthusiasm for the ESOP mindset is infectious. Aida actively educates new hires, engages with fellow owners, and advocates for the benefits of employee ownership to clients. She serves as a mentor and motivator, continuously reinforcing the value an ESOP brings to both our team and our clients.
